Andrzej Kaźmierski is a full Professor of Zoology at the Adam Mickiewicz University. in Poznan, specialized in acarology.
He has been approved as a judge for all Terrier breeds in 1979; at present he is licensed to judge all breeds, final competitions and Junior Handling.
He has been the President of the Terrier Club in Poland since 1987. In General Committee of the Polish Kennel Club he is the member of the Breeding Commission, as well as a vice president of Judges Commission. In these functions he was one of three Polish delegates at the General Assemblies of the FCI in Dortmund (1991) and Mexico City (1999).
He is co-editor of the official Polish Kennel Club Magazine "Pies" (="Dog") and the author of many articles (among others on phylogenesis of Canidae and Canis familiaris and genetics), also of TV special programs about dog breeds. Being the Vice-President of the Poznan branch of the Polish Kennel Club he has worked in the organizing committee of several,important in Europe, International CACIB Dog Shows in Poznań, including the European Winner Show in 2000, the Middle&Eastern European Cup in 2001, and especially World Dog Show' 2006 (twenty-one thousand dogs, world record!), which was very successful according to many opinions from abroad.
His own breeds have been Airedale Terriers an American Staffordshire Terriers, which have been shown very successfully, winning a numerous important titles. He is especially interested in all terrier breeds, as well as Dachshounds, Retrievers, Newfoundlands and Schnauzers. He has been judging at many shows in Poland and more than thirty countries in Europe and overseas (among others: European Shows, World Shows, also Eurasia Shows and Helsinki Winner).
