Biographical Notes I have been involved with dogs all my life and have a special interest in breeds within the Hound, Gundog, Working and Pastoral groups. My interest in Borzoi began in 1965 and I have, bred / exhibited many Borzoi champions both in the UK and overseas. At present my Dog family is made up of 4 Borzoi, 1 Whippet , I Irish Wolfhound, I English Springer and a Cardigan Corgi I have served on numerous canine and breed club committees and I am a Trustee and Joint Secretary of The Welsh Kennel Club and have been a WKC Committee member for over 35 years.
Presently I am Joint Secretary of The Welsh Kennel Club, President of The Gundog Society of Wales, President of the Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales and President of the Rottweiler Club of Wales. I am a serving member of the Kennel Club General Committee, Kennel Club Breed Standards and Stud Book sub-committee, the KC Show Executive Sub-committee and a Trustee of The Kennel Club Charitable Trust. I am part of the organising team at Crufts and my duties include the Crufts Main Ring Commentary.
I was involved with the Young Kennel Club from its inception, being the original Welsh Regional Organiser. I am a former Kennel Club Accredited Trainer. I am approved to award KC Challenge Certificates in All Hound breeds plus Australian Shepherd, Bearded Collie, Border Collie, Rough Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, German Shepherd Dogs, Cardigan Corgi, Pembroke Corgi, Alaskan Malamute, Rottweilers, Newfoundland and Japanese Shiba Inu together with BIS, UK Hound & Pastoral Groups at Championship Show level. I have judged extensively throughout the UK and overseas at Championship level in Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, South Africa and Australia."
